The entry of foreign citizens to the Republic of Artsakh is allowed on the availability of valid foreign passports or other documents replacing them, an entrance visa of Artsakh, with payment of corresponding state customs.

WHERE TO OBTAIN:
Travelers can get their visa either in Yerevan, or Stepanakert, the capital of Artsakh. Both options are fine, but if you prefer saving time, then I’d suggest to get it in Stepanakert. Note that if you choose to do so, then the first thing you should do upon arrival in the capital is to report yourself to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and get the visa.

VISA FREE:
Artsakh is VISA FREE for citizens of the CIS countries, but although they don’t need visa to enter the republic, still they must register their arrival at the Consular Service of the Artsakh Foreign Ministry in Stepanakert. The entry of the CIS countries citizens /except Turkmenistan/ is permitted by valid passports or other documents substituting them, if an accreditation card is available.

LENGTH of STAY AND VISA FEE:
Tourist visa (up to 21 days) – 3,000 AMD
Single entry visa for up to 1 month – 24,000 AMD
Multiple visa for up to 1 month – 33,000 AMD
Single entry visa for up to 2 months – 30,000 AMD
Multiple visa for up to 2 months – 39,000 AMD
Single entry visa for up to 3 months – 36,000 AMD
Multiple visa for up to 3 months – 44,000 AMD

Travelers can apply for their visa on weekdays as well as on weekends. Note that the working hours of the Consular Service of the Artsakh MFA in Stepanakert and the Consular Service of the Permanent Mission to the Republic of Armenia in Yerevan on Saturdays and Sundays are usually from 12:00 to 3.00 PM.
